Rowing on the InMotion Rower is as easy as 1-2-3. The continuous, non-impact movement of rowing can be broken down into 3 phases: the starting point or catchphrase, the drive phase, and the finish.
During the catch phase, knees bend with shins vertical, mimicking oar placement. The drive starts with leg extension, then elbows flexing to bring oars to the upper stomach. In the finish, legs extend, shoulders go back, elbows flex, and oar handles touch the upper abdomen. In the finish, knees bend after hands pass the knees, arms and shoulders reach forward for the following catch.
